No. We design the spreads and deliver finished files to the album company or lab you choose, set to their exact sizes, bleed and colour profile. Photographers often hold a trade account with a lab already, and couples can order from any album maker that accepts designed files.
How many photos fit in a wedding album?
It depends on the album size and the number of spreads, but the aim is a story rather than every frame. A mix of full-bleed spreads and smaller groupings keeps the pace varied. We design to the spread count you order from your album maker and tell you if your selection needs trimming or could fill a few more pages.
Can you retouch the photos?
We make the usual album corrections: matching colour and exposure across the book, straightening horizons and cropping. Detailed retouching, such as removing people or reshaping, sits outside album design and is quoted separately if you need it. If a photographer edited the pictures, we keep their style.
What sets the cost of album design?
The spread count matters most, then how many photos we sort through and any parent albums you need in other sizes. An album built from a ready selection is quicker than one where we choose from a full wedding gallery. Your quote lists the main album and each extra copy.
