Google Ads management

Be there the moment they search.

Google Ads management puts your ad above the results the moment someone searches for what you sell. We set it up, write it and run it.

What it covers

What does Google Ads management cover?

Everything inside the account, and the page the ad lands on. We build the keyword lists and the list of searches you don’t want to pay for, write the ads, set the bids and the daily cap, add the sitelinks and call buttons, and connect the tracking that tells you which click became an enquiry.

Google charges you per click, to a card in your own Google Ads account, and sends you the invoice. Our pay-per-click (PPC) management fee is a fixed amount agreed in writing, so you always know what the clicks cost and what the work cost. It sits in our social media and marketing line, alongside SEO for the unpaid results underneath.

Campaign types

Which kinds of search engine marketing are there?

Search engine marketing is the paid half of appearing on Google. Most clients start with search ads, because they catch people who are already asking, and add the others later.

Google Ads copy

What makes good Google Ads copy?

Google assembles a search ad from the parts you supply, so Google Ads copywriting means writing headlines and descriptions that make sense in any order. Google sets the limits and the rules in its Ads help centre: no exclamation marks in headlines, no claims you can’t back up, no capitals for emphasis.

  • Headlines, 30 characters eachUp to fifteen. Several carry the exact words the searcher typed, several say what makes you different, and one or two ask for the click.
  • Descriptions, 90 characters eachUp to four, each a complete thought, with the offer, the area you serve and the next step in plain words.
  • Sitelinks, callouts and callsExtra links to your pages, short proof points of 25 characters, and a tap-to-call number on phones, so the ad takes more of the screen.
  • A page that keeps the promiseThe landing page repeats the ad’s words and offer above the fold. Google scores that match, and so does the visitor.

How it runs

How does the first month run?

  1. Set up in your name

The account, the billing and the tracking belong to you. We work in it as a manager, and the account and its history stay with you.

  2. Build

Keyword lists grouped by what the searcher means, a negative list for the searches you don’t want, ads for each group and a landing page for each offer.

  3. Launch and prune

Google shows you every search that triggered an ad. We read the list weekly, block the wasteful ones and raise bids on the ones that turn into enquiries.

  4. Report

What was spent, which searches brought enquiries or sales, what each one cost and what we will change next, written to be read in five minutes.

Questions

Questions about Google Ads management

Question not here? Send it to us and we will answer it directly.

Ask a question

How do we start?

Email hello@redfoxbranding.com or use the project form with what you sell, where you sell it and roughly what you could spend on clicks each month. If you already have an account, we ask for manager access and read its history first. If not, we open one in your name. The quote that follows is fixed and lists the campaigns, ads and pages included.

Who pays Google for the clicks?

You do, from a card or bank account added to your own Google Ads account, and Google invoices you directly. Our management fee is separate and fixed. You set the daily cap and can change it whenever you like. Nothing of your ad budget passes through us.

What results can you promise?

None. Every ad enters an auction against other advertisers, and what a click costs depends on who else wants it that day. What we promise is the work and the reporting: ads that match the search, pages that match the ads, wasteful searches blocked, and a monthly report showing what each enquiry cost, so the decision to continue is yours and informed.

Do we need a new landing page?

Often, yes. Sending an ad for one service to a home page that lists twelve makes the visitor hunt, and Google notices when they leave. A page written for the ad’s offer, with the form on it, does better. For EB Fuels we built a page for each town, with the town already filled into the quote form: the kind of page an ad should land on.

Want the free results as well?

The searches that bring you enquiries through ads are the searches worth ranking for without them. Our SEO services take the list your campaign proves and write a page for each, so over time you pay for fewer clicks. If you are weighing the two, a marketing strategy settles the split.
